“Tree of Life” was selected by the Crocker Art Museum for its permanent collection in Sacramento, California. December, 2022.
This magnificent tree is located in the Olympic Peninsula National Park. The Olympic Peninsula is home to temperate rain forests, like the Hoh Rain Forest, Queets Rain Forest, and Quinalt. The moist conditions of temperate rainforests generally support a plethora of moses, ferns, and shrubs as appreciated in this moss-covered tree.
