“ART SHOPPING” CONTEMPORARY ART SALON

I’m honoured to announce my exhibit at the “Art Shopping” Contemporary Art Salon at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, France. My exhibition takes place on March 31st, April 1st & 2nd, 2023. I will be exhibiting several pieces from my abstract collection which I will reveal in a future correspondence of Art Insight, so stay tuned to learn about the selected ones.
Founded in 2007, Art Shopping Salon (Fair) at Carrousel du Louvre has become THE art event in Paris, where carefully selected artists and galleries present their artwork to thousands of visitors.
Europe has been for centuries the cradle of art worldwide. The capital of Paris has seen the birth of great creators and it houses magnificent works of art from the entire history of humanity at its museums and art galleries.
The Contemporary Art Salon at the Carrousel du Louvre is an art exhibition organized every year by The Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts. This is an association of artists created in 1861 by Louis Martinet and Théophile Gautier to break with the Official Exhibition or Salon de Paris (The Salon de Paris was first held in the Palace of the Louvre in 1725, which gave it its name). The Salon des Beaux Arts welcomes painters, sculptors, engravers, photographers and illustrators from all over the world.
Carrousel du Louvre is an exhibition space, that officially opened in 1993, at the entrance of the prestigious Louvre Museum and it is precisely there where the “Art Shopping” Contemporary Art Salon is held twice a year. This event brings together French and International art lovers who are drawn to this far-reaching contemporary art fair in search of unique works of art from around the world as well as the latest art trends.

Louvre Inverted Pyramid
The Carrousel du Louvre is a unique cultural and historical location adjacent to the Musée du Louvre and the Tuileries gardens. La Pyramide Inversée, Louvre Inverted Pyramid, is an impressive skylight in the mall in front of the Louvre Museum. It looks like an upside-down version of the Louvre Pyramid in the main courtyard of the Louvre Palace.
Art Shopping Fair
Twice a year Art Shopping Fair is held at the Carrousel du Louvre and offers a unique selection of artworks to both see and purchase.
